It was BEEEUUUTIFUL out there in Trinity Lake, literally the water was sooo clear.. we all drank water right from the river..
The nice part was it was ice cold and it tasted better than bottled water.
We stayed there for about a week… we had the perfect campsite- Mike built HUGE campfires at night… I miss that the most..
Just chillaxin in the woods next to a great big fire… Our campsite was right near the showers.. I would take late night showers.. long hot late night showers…
It would feel soo good after a shower and just wrapped my hair in a towel and warmed up in front of the fire.. I love it..i miss it~
We checked out a couple of properties out there.. for $55,000 you can buy 3 acres! I’m SOOO INTERESTED.. it wouldn’t be a bad retirement investment.. and LORD knows I could do A LOT with 3 acres in the mountains.. next to a BEAUTIFUL LAKE… well we’ll see….
The kids LOVED IT! It was kinda trippy cuz wherever we stayed at was a baller’s campsite or something…
They had RV campsites there too. And that was most of the people there they had matching Truck, RV, BOAT, and ATV’s… like the little 7 year old kids had mini ATV’s or they had mini golf carts just to get around the camp… I’m thinking in my head.. whatever happened to walking in the woods??
Anyways.. it was an AWESOME getaway I got my Tan on.. did A LOT of swimming, relaxing… I would take a jog almost every morning.. I love how the sun shines thru the tall trees and running on the hike paths… on the last morning I woke up super early.. started the morning camp fire, grabbed the sling shot.. and jogged all the way to the lake.. when I got there I picked out some pebbles and practiced my aim.. I missed this shit… I aimed for a bird a couple times but thought against it… so I used certain marks as my target… afterwards I jogged back to camp and Mike and the kids were up.
I think when I was younger I didn’t care to much about camping .. but now .. I really enjoy it.. we did some fishing, hiking, exploring.. we even played mini golf with the kids…
I already told Mike I wanna go camping again hopefully before the summer is over. LOL I came back to work and some of my good friends who know me VERY WELL tripped out…
They asked.. “so where’d you go for Vacation?” and I’d tell them I went camping in the woods… They would have this WTF kinda look on their face… and question me.. Are you serious Analynn?
You went camping for your vacation? I started laughing.. well.. yea.. I really do like it…that.. and plus.. my boyfriend is “white” .. that’s when everyone started cracking up… they were like “oooh!!! No wonder!!” LOL!!! White thing, Flip thing, Hawaiian Thing.. who cares… staying out in the outdoors enjoying the weather, the woods, its an experience to appreciate and enjoy..
