Rest in Paradise-

Hawaii was Awesome- started off Great ended great- I love Vickie! She's the Bomb for letting me stay at her place for most of the time- but i'll write more later about Hawaii but today I went back to work- opened my email and started scrolling down the subject lines.. Then I saw it, from my co worker Marilou- and all it had in the subject Line was his name :Glenn Raposa- my heart sank i could feel it beat harder too... I immediately opened the email and as I started to read it.. I could feel the tears run down my face- not only did my good friend pass but it was the beginning of February and I guess his family members didn't know how to get in touch with his old co workers.. I didn't feel soo bad when I found out pretty much the same time lulu did.. But Still I would've taken off if I knew.. Glenn was super cool we clicked and he became literally like a cool uncle or bro- me Him and lulu would take walks at break he'd volunteer to be look out when I was HITTIN the blunt- he had diabetes and also cellulitis, so when I was out sick for like 2 months Glenn sent me get well cards told me how to feel the symptoms out before it went bad.. He totally understood my frustrations with my cellulitis condition, so we related ALOT- he thought I was cool cuz I used to play paintball and he was a big paintball player too and mostly He LOVED THE SF GIANTS- he had a fat crush on my co worker Marissa.. Sometimes I wish she would've gave him a chance they were perfect for each other.. at least I Thought so.. I remember when I lost all my weight Glenn came down to have lunch with me and Lulu like old times.. He was totally ecstatic about my change.. And I told him he could do it too- he sent me a email the next day confessing that he always thought I was beautiful, but now it shows even more inside and out..he said that I inspired him and he was planning to start working out and getting back into better shape.. and HE DID! he lost over 80lbs looked almost 20 years younger.. I was sooooo HAPPY for him!! And again, we had another mini reunion with lulu he told me then I really inspired him to change... I REGRET not making time in December or even in January.. After the Giants win the World Series again we all planned to meet at the parade but because if whatever's it didn't pan out so then we all agreed to meet before Christmas.. But again, everyone's schedule was crazy.. So we postponed.. And now I wish I didn't... My heart is soo sad about Glenn- he was truly a great friend, advisor, brother at heart- always preached bout keepin the Aloha spirit , he even played drums for my sister hula group in Daly City.. Gosh.. Life is too short.. Tomorrow really isn't promised.. I have soo much mad love and respect for Glenn,. He will be SOOO missed.
