I went to the gym last night. Denise was teaching, I love it when she's teaching... she pushes me in a good way. We were doing combo's last night.. My FAVORITE!! round house, horse stance, right, left upper cut and then end it with a back kick.. we do a 8 count set- slow first.. then after that the speed picks up and it totals roughly around over 100 kicks on each leg in a FAST PACE MOTION.. MY ASS HURTS!! The back of my thighs BURN especially when I walk up or down the stairs but its a good burn.. a good pain..
She asked what we wanted to work on, so I yelled out arms and abs..
although it may not seem like I have abs YET. underneath my layer of chub MY CORE IS SORE.. she had us standing in a horse stance while we thru left and right upper cuts making sure she went lower, and lower while punching and making sure while we twist (to throw the upper cut out) our core and make sure it turns with your full hips/abs in the swing of the punch... YEA- you could REALLY feel that burn.
So pain right now is ALL GOOD PAIN.. I'm now down to 150.. my mom told me yesterday.. "Oh mi gosh! You're soo SKINNY!" I laughed and told my mom I have NEVER HEARD HER say that to me ever in my life.. and it feels good :)
My goal I wanna hit down to 120.. or i'm toying with 115 we'll see.. now to set the time frame.. I figure we're Mid Month April.. so by end of June I'm shooting for my goal :)
I signed up with Sandy to do the AIDS walk this summer too. We did it last year and the kids had fun. I think its great event. I wanna get into doing Marathons.. I saw Luis last night.. almost been about 6 months since i've seen him.. he looks good I gave him a hug and kiss we played catch-up for about 20 minutes and that was it. I'm happy for him.. for whatever he's into whatever he's doing. I just hope he stays "safe" literally.
Well tonight I gotta get my nails done... go to the gym... oh and put us on the guest list for the 420 celebration this SATURDAY!!! oh yea.. Can't wait!!! Adults only fun~ Me, Mike, Dee, Lamont, Francisco.. and I think Mike's 2 other friends are comming too. I'm excited... wells time to go :)
